I would like to welcome you to my beautiful studio! My name is Pierre and I guess you are here looking for beginner to grade 5 piano lessons? You have certainly come to the right place if you are keen to start your musical adventure and discover the joy of being able to pay the piano with confidence!
My story
At the age of 9 I started with piano lessons at my neighbour's in South Africa. Aged 16 I started to take pipe organ lessons and in 2003 I passed my A-Levels in both piano and pipe organ. I moved to the UK in 2004 and in 2007 started my Primary Education degree with music as my specialism subject at Roehampton University. In 2010 I passed my degree with an upper 2:1 and also started my first teaching post in Camberley. During this time, I became the Director of Music at Ravenscote Junior School until 2017 when I was head-hunted by another junior school to become Teaching & Learning Leader which ultimately lead to my role as Deputy Headteacher. Post Covid, I decided to pursue my dream of being a music producer! I am currently studying the cello and also in my spare time I am self-teaching the accordion.
